Jeremy Ngakia looks set to join Watford following their relegation from the Premier League.
The 19-year-old left West Ham United at the end of June following the expiry of his contract, but after numerous attempts to tie him to the East London club on a long term deal, he then left, even rejecting a short term extension to his contract to finish the season at London Stadium.
This comes across as odd news as the Hornets are clearly looking at signings, even though they do not currently have a manager. This suggests he may be playing with their U23 side instead of the first team.
If he was to play in the first team, at this moment in time he would be competing with the likes of Kiko Femenia for a place in their Starting XI.
