Coventry have made a bid for Arsenal midfielder Ben Sheaf, according to reports.
The Sun are reporting that the Sky Blues have made a six-figure bid to bring in the 22-year-old, after an impressive spell at Doncaster last season. He scored twice and assisted three times from defensive midfield in 38 appearances for Rovers.
He has only made two appearances for the Gunners, after joining from West Ham. But now it seems the North London club are willing to sell, and Coventry manager Mark Robins is said to be a big fan of him, and would like to make him their seventh signing of the summer as they rebuild for a fight for survival in the Championship next season.
Coventry won League One last season on PPG (points per game) after the season was curtailed.
